People need to realize OkCupid, Tinder, POF and basically all the pop ones are bought by Friction match Group. You jump from app to app trying to understand why yous cannot discover matches. In reality, all these use the same deceptive practices to scam people. For case show simulated or years old not-active profiles or far abroad people, so you go along swiping until desperate plenty to pay for "boost" or find out that all your 100 likes are from overseas fake people.

I accumulated 56 "likes" over a ii-day flow, then paid $75 for six months to run across the "likes". 1 - EXACTLY I was from within the continental United states of america. All others were from overseas. Southward Africa, Kenya, Italy France, Thailand, Israel, Columbia, Republic of belarus, Argentina, Frg, Russia, Kingdom of belgium, and 22 from the Philippines! I was a member 10 years ago and information technology wasn't similar this. They've inverse their business model it seems. I'yard NEVER going back to this site.

I strongly suggest everyone to stay away from OkCupid scammer fraud site. It's just equally bad as scammer fraud Facebook, The first iii days subsequently signing upwards with okcupid without paid version, I get 39 unknown likes I cant view , and okcupid tells me I have to pay $60 only to view likes and send messages and denies me from sending likes, and so okcupid blows my email upwardly with spam emails from strange electronic mail addresses. Okcupid has no client support at all. Information technology'south all FAKE and a SCAM. I also received 2 strange fake contour intros from China with fake pictures and fake info.
Furthermore the only response I received was from a lady that was telling lies well-nigh herself in her profile falsely challenge she was single and alone simply actually is living with her infant daddy and her daughter doing this okcupid stuff behind his dorsum, and claims she has multiple men she gets with behind her babe daddy back. It seems that all she wanted from me and every other guy was phone sex and porn pics, one time I refused she was gone similar the current of air. And so to all yous married men or married women or anyone who has a boyfriend or girlfriend, you volition probably observe your lover on okcupid trying to cheat on you lot with a hookup maybe even for coin. Okcupd is icky. I hope the feds shut it down presently.

Okcupid has unfortunately gone the way of most dating sites; that is, it'south a scam. I signed upward and immediately had xx likes behind a paywall. As soon equally I paid, I found an additional pay wall. In one case I paid the likes were all revealed to be exterior of my geographic area, which was a deal breaker. I am Autistic and extremely lonely, and it is embarrassing that I fell for such a scam. I deleted my business relationship in less than 24 hours. This is a predatory bait and switch company, and I hope this review dissuades others from using it in the hopes of finding love. A pox on the Firm of Okcupid, and all those who sit inside it.

OkCupid.com is the worse gratuitous dating site on the Internet. Half of the accounts are spammed or Ai. Instead of okcupid.com going after these spammed and Ai accounts, they go after petty pictures of my posted pictures of tattoos on me. I tin can post my pictures of my tattoos on any other social media platform, just okcupid.com has says I violated their rules and they don't allow you to challenge their rules, no 1 to contact. If at that place is a contact, chances is, y'all'll never be able to speak to a Rep, you'll exist speaking to a Ai rep.
One-half of the people on okcupid.com are drug addicts or gang members trying to fix you up to be robbed or somehow you'll be catfished. okcupid.com cannot trusted with whatever of your information, but to the fact, only time these accounts of Spam and Ai are reported by the users not by the Admins of okcupid.com. They'll take your personal information and sell information technology without your cognition, or the spammed and Ai accounts that is on OKcupid.com will alienation your personal information and exploit information technology to the fullest.

New user, signed up a couple of days ago. I wasn't fifty-fifty able to complete my profile before I got banned for who knows what reason. Had some kind of login fault, attempted to contact support, and shortly thereafter I got a notice that I had been banned from the site. Suppose that'due south i way to deal with tech support issues, though perhaps non the best way for concenter paying customers or mitigating negative reviews on sites like Consumer Diplomacy...
Based upon the questions I was asked during signup and also when I was fleshing out my profile, OKCupid (OKC) came across as being very "politically right" and far left biased. I was asked at least a dozen times about my voting habits lonely. What does that take to exercise with finding a engagement? Other examples of some of the questions are "Would you date someone who doesn't support the #Metoo movement?", "Overall has capitalism made the world a ameliorate place?" and "Communism, in concept...", several more question about supporting gun control, many on COVID and related, quite a few related to political activism etc.
Speaking of activism, I noticed web log entries and general themes suggesting that this is a big deal with members of the site. No ane else allowed... or at least that's how I felt. It's corking for someone who subscribes to that item viewpoint and lifestyle, merely not then much for anyone else. Especially for those of u.s.a. who after all that has happened in 2022 have absolutely had information technology with politics across the board and just want to start living life again, the pandering on OKC is a gargantuan turn-off. I doubtable (though I tin't prove plain) that the reason I got banned is that I don't share the aforementioned viewpoints that OKC seems to back up. Vive la Différence!
Even with taking politics out of the equation, the quality and write-up of the questions leaves a lot to be desired. Spelling and grammar mistakes galore. About of the questions are poorly worded, some are outright incoherent, and answer choices given are black and white either-or. It may sound like I'1000 picking at nits, only trying to answer a questionnaire that is poorly written and sometimes hard to understand is no fun!
Ironically, I was initially considering buying a calendar month'south subscription. For the brief time I was on OKC I really spotted an onetime friend in the listings and wanted to driblet them a line. I know the site is supposed to offering costless messaging, merely wasn't sure that a truly free exchange was going to be possible which is why I was thinking of subbing. Either mode I think I successfully dodged a bullet!
Speaking of subscriptions, the cost on OKC seems pretty loftier compared to some other sites I'g familiar with. A full calendar month premium sub on OKC which unlocks all the features costs approx ~$35/mo. That same corporeality of coin will purchase 3 months of service on Enough of Fish, which incidentally is a much larger site. eHarmony and Adult Friend Finder (AFF) both price about the aforementioned on a monthly ground as OKC, but I feel that the user gets more than bang for the buck if for no other reason than a larger user base to play with and the obvious developed features that goes with AFF. Aye I know the cost goes down per/calendar month the larger the block of time purchased, but that's standard with all dating sites these days. However for OKC information technology doesn't stop there. If y'all want to boost your profile to make it more visible for a short time, 15 minutes at a time if I recall the site info correctly, exist prepared to pay up!
The other complaints I see from other reviewers on here I can vouch for in a lot of cases. Within the showtime few minutes of signing upwards (suspiciously fast) I suddenly had several "hits", people who supposedly clicked on my profile and were interested in meeting. They were of course all blurred out, and then no idea if they were legit. I felt information technology was a pretty obvious lure to get the new user to pay for a subscription. I wasn't on long enough to meet any scammers or catfishers, nonetheless I don't doubt the claims of the others one bit as information technology's a serious problem on all the "free" dating sites.
The matching organization is pretty strange besides. One user I ran across shared a 99% (!) compatibility score match with me. Patently intrigued, I checked out her profile as I wanted to run across what a 99% match would be like... I hateful could this possibly be my long lost twin whom we got separated at birth? LOL! Not exactly... non even that shut in reality. While we did agree on many points, there were quite a few major points we didn't, and a lot of those points I don't call up either one of u.s.a. would have been willing to budge on.
For those who were always members on the site "MyYearbook" (MYB) or when it was later bought out and became "MeetMe", the feel of OKC is very similar. Specifically when MYB introduced their dating game, they way they asked and presented the questions is identical. Same for the way they used to match people. Information technology actually makes me wonder if OKC is a spinoff of those two sites or if the developers simply grabbed the code and made it fit for their purposes.
Overall my outlook on OKC is pretty negative. The political attribute is something I institute to be bothersome and not something I want to become involved with on a dating site. Good for the reader who is into such things, only I call up the vast majority of people on dating sites... myself inclusive... are there for the (*gasp!*) dates; not to debate the finer points of democratic socialism! LOL! Customer service is about as horrible equally information technology comes, and looking at other reviews, what happened to me seems to be a common problem... prissy to know guys! The algorithm that determines compatibility is whacked, as are the quality of the questions. Finally OKC is still a very small site compared to others, all the same they still charge a premium for service compared to other sites. Verdict: Avoid!!! AVOID!!! Avoid!!!

This dating app is a joke, a husk of its former self and a central failure. Y'all have horrible stalkers making multiple accounts, violating the TOS, but y'all make a joke they consider "offensive" and your account gets banned. How tin can you claim to exist a dating site when one cannot bear witness a bit of your ain sense of humour? The app pushes a sure political calendar without being inclusive of those who call up different. You are bombarded by propaganda and feel as if not being of a sure political leaning makes you undesirable. It shouldn't be chosen OkCupid. It should be called OkLib. The app/dating site besides charges you lot for every little thing, such as seeing whether someone saw your messages. Don't waste your fourth dimension with this app if you want to find a life partner. If you are an introvert like me, yous would honestly have more luck finding a partner on a bar than on this then-called "dating app". Don't waste product your time.

OKCupid is the most gynocentric dating app of all fourth dimension, lol. Even the "cocked" promos are propaganda. The female person models showcase their caricatured "partners" similar accessories. Really. They throw in trendy social justice bug as soon every bit they are "in", but there is a clear subtext to their posturing that one sex is more important than the other. (Hint: the dominant sex is not the ane they get the virtually money from...) OKCupid wants guys to know that shirtless bath selfies are tacky, merely xx year old bikini pics are allowable for women. Those who sell sex are intrinsically more moral than those who buy it...even though the buyers' dollars are welcome yet. They make it VERY difficult to stop paying automatically.

STAY AWAY FROM OK Cupid. If you lot're on long enough you can tell less than three pics with less than xv answered questions is a faux profile. If you search further on other as well reputable reviews, some articles claim their employees make imitation profiles to lucifer meliorate with zilch results or connections. Their match algorithms work, only with every bit many fake profiles and lack of verification it's virtually worthless. This techniques are against United states of america federal police force and I am seriously bringing this to the attention of the US District Courtroom in the Southern District of New York For consumer fraud
.
Furthermore, I had an issue with "faulty verification" with my account. I sent a support message requesting assistance. To this twenty-four hours, over a month later, I haven't received one electronic mail from them asking how they tin can assistance me. When I did make a new email account, I couldn't delete my onetime account. Furthermore, the changed the whole app dynamics, 10 free "likes/first messages", new fee structures, unable to browse in the age, ethnicity, religion or location you request. This app has truly gone downhill and is just looking out for advertizement dollars and your recurring fees and non the consumer.

I filed a BBB against OK Cupid to ask how tin I delete my ain photo. OK Cupid responded that I can't? It'southward because when you delete your business relationship, they steal your photo to make FAKE profiles. Accept you always seen those one photo that comes across your "Likes" or "Not-Likes." Those are the photos that they steal when you delete your contour to make their ain FALSE profiles to entice users to bring together. They are owned past Lucifer and they've always been a fraudulent company. Yous email someone on OK Cupid and they don't respond? It's a FAKE profile that OK Cupid created to reel you in to paying for their dating service. I've been on for 6 months and non One email or date. 120 "LIKES" simply no 1 emails?

This dating app wasn't my favorite. I felt like it was the easiest to use, and there were many available people, but the quality of the people on the app were terrible. I think it would be better if it were more sectional, that way, people tin more readily connect with people of quality versus quantity. In other words, this app attracted the lowest of the low. Because it was free, that's a huge plus, but besides that I'chiliad non sure this would be the go to app that I would recommend.

OkCupid has the most progressive and in-depth features I've ever seen before.
